When you enquire, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, email address, business, website address and message. If we work together, we also handle project correspondence, documents and information needed to deliver and administer the work.
We use this information to answer enquiries, prepare audits and proposals, plan and build websites, provide support, manage contracts and invoices, and meet our legal obligations. An enquiry does not subscribe you to C&C or Growth London marketing.
Our lawful bases are our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and providing and administering services; taking steps towards or performing a contract where you are a party to it; and meeting legal obligations, including accounting requirements. We need relevant contact and project details to respond and carry out the work.
Enquiries are recorded in Growth London's HubSpot account. Our website hosting, form-handling, email, document and business-administration providers also process information where needed for their services. Relevant team members and people helping deliver an agreed project may have access where necessary.
We use ChatGPT Business and Claude to assist with enquiry processing, audits, proposals, planning and website delivery. Relevant information may be processed through these tools. We use them with provider model training and model improvement disabled. This does not mean that all information is immediately deleted by the provider.
We do not sell your personal information. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to obtain professional advice or establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
Technical information, such as IP addresses, browser and device details and usage events, may be processed by the website platform and security services to operate, protect and understand the site. The enquiry form uses spam protection.
Cookies or similar technologies may support these functions. Your browser lets you view, remove or restrict stored website data. Contact us if you would like details of the technologies used on this site.
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where UK data protection law requires it, these transfers need appropriate protection, such as UK adequacy arrangements or approved contractual safeguards. Contact us for details of the providers and safeguards relevant to your enquiry or project.
We decide how long to keep information by considering the enquiry or project it relates to, our ongoing business relationship, and any accounting, legal or dispute-resolution requirements. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer needed for those purposes.
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, or receive a portable copy. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in data protection law.
To make a request or raise a concern, email info@growthlondon.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
Where we handle personal information on your business's behalf as part of a project, our role and responsibilities are covered by the relevant service agreement and any required data-processing agreement.
We may update this notice as our services or data-handling practices change. The date above shows when it was last updated.
